My Forever Puppy is the special term of endearment the author said to her precious miniature dachshund every morning of her long life. A Dachshund Tale Lessons Learned From My Dog was conceived during those first sorrowful days following the passing of the author’s beloved dachshund, spurred by her deep desire to forever engrave upon her heart what her dog’s life meant to her. The author invites any others who are grieving the loss of a beloved fur baby to share the journey with her and consider the meaning and impact of their precious one on their life. While the author can’t promise this process will completely ease your hurting, she believes it can help others begin to turn their sadness into a forever celebration of their sweet little angel. And eventually, it may turn their tears of mourning into smiles of remembrance.

Informazioni sull’autore
Lesley Vernon is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer who lives near Philadelphia along with her family and sweet Maine coon cat, Roma. From an early age, Lesley has loved drawing and doodling, filling the pages of many sketchbooks. She credits an enthusiastic high school art teacher for inspiring her to pursue art more seriously. After achieving a bachelor's degree in Studio Art, Lesley's explored a variety of artistic avenues, including print, web, illustration and vinyl decals. In addition to the arts, Lesley has a great love of the outdoors. While living in Maine, she and her husband, Stephen, spent nearly every weekend hiking and camping in the White Mountains or along the rocky Maine coastline. The natural world has provided Lesley with plenty of inspiration and has been the subject of many paintings and sketches during her life. Now a mom of two young boys, Mason and Ryder, Lesley loves sharing art with her children through coloring, finger painting, and other hands-on crafts. Her family enjoys hiking the rolling hills and woods of Pennsylvania and taking weekend trips to the seashore.

Descrizione dello Store
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
