Autumn, a palomino horse, is in trouble. She knows
where she can get help, but her stallion, Silver Moon,
will be furious when he discovers where she's gone.

Becky MacKendrick is home from college, looking
forward to relaxing and re-connecting with her
boyfriend, Phillip Ebbers. But he is distant, elusive.
Yes, he's been working hard creating a new vision for
his late grandfather's sprawling Double B ranch.

Does he still love her?

Against the background of the wild Wyoming landscape,
wild horses are brutally killed. A rebellious teenager
and a guilt-ridden cowboy join together to save them,
especially the famous mustang, Warrior, who
disappeared two years before.

In the Dark Night brings the reader into the struggles
and conflicts happening every day in the American West.
It is a story of love and survival, loss and victory, and
ruthless power intent on destroying it all.
