You know what is most interesting about very large businesses and very sophisticated organizations; they are full of brilliant people, but COMMON SENSE ISN'T VERY COMMON!!  Every major organization that I am aware of is using subjectivity and guesswork to operate their ERM environments.

When it comes to the subject matter of ERM the only thing that makes any sense at all is that it must be DATA-CENTRIC!  In this day and age DATA DRIVES EVERYTHING, EXCEPT ERM! This book is the definitive guideline and the how-to manual on building a Data-Centric ERM environment!!

You will learn a proprietary and totally business-centric method of efficiently and effectively analyzing risk throughout the entire Enterprise.  This methodology will provide you with the most logical and easily understandable method of putting ERM in place in any size organization.  This book centers you on the key anchor points of all risk assessment, which are, what is critical to your particular organization.  The only ERM environments that are worthwhile at all are those that are custom made for the organization.  This book will show you how to do that. Generic doesn’t get it in ERM.

In this book you will learn how to evaluate and effectively manage those risks that go to the core of your organization or business; the ones that if not managed will stop or seriously inhibit your ability to operate.

Think about it honestly and answer this question. How many things in your own personal life do you really guess about? The answer is virtually 0! You don't guess what time a plane is going to leave for and arrive in Singapore for your super critical meeting.  You don't guess about what hotel is closest to the site of that critical meeting. You don't guess about the location and room of the building in which that critical meeting is being held. And, you don't guess about which direction you should be going, or how long the taxi ride is from where you are to where you need to be for that critical meeting.  You use data and proven information for every one of those things just mentioned.  So why in the world are major organizations guessing when it comes to the most critical thing that they must do every day that they operate, which is effectively manage the risks of the organization? THIS SHOULD BE the ERM handbook for the CEO and every member of the BOD!

It is time to apply common sense, logic, data and proven information to the science of ERM and every aspect of it.  If this is not done, the parties responsible for ERM in your organization are your biggest risk! They are doing you more harm than they are doing you good. This book will tell you exactly what you need to do to be the BEST that you can possibly be in ERM! To not read this book and immediately start working toward implementing what it tells you to do is the biggest risk you can possibly take!

If you are an educator and you are not using this as your textbook in the fields of ERM and Data Analytics, when all of the major accreditation organizations are making it mandatory to teach data analytics, you are taking a terrible risk!

If you are a student in any field of study, but particularly a business or management related field of study and you have not read this book you are your own worst enemy relative to preparing yourself for where the future is already going.

IT IS CRYSTAL CLEAR! DATA and THE COMMON SENSE TO APPLY IT LOGICALLY to the subject matter of ERM IS THE FUTURE!  DON'T FORGET IT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!
