We are now living in a revolutionary era shaped by artificial intelligence (AI) and rapidly evolving technology. Instructional technologists and educators stand at the forefront of this transformation, tasked not only with integrating AI into teaching and learning but also with critically examining the power structures, biases, and assumptions embedded within these systems. The intersection of AI and education has the potential to either reinforce colonial paradigms of knowledge or dismantle them, depending on how thoughtfully we design and apply these technologies. Decolonizing AI Bias in Curriculum and Instructional Design critically examines how AI shapes pedagogy, curriculum development, and instructional decision-making. This book advocates for equitable, inclusive design that resists algorithmic bias, promotes epistemic diversity, and centers marginalized voices in the era of intelligent systems. Covering topics such as cultural representation, learning ecologies, and equity-centered intelligent tutoring, this book is an excellent academic resource for graduate and doctoral students, educators, instructional technologists, policymakers, and more.
