Paperback. In the months following the battle against the sheriff and his men, the people of Cedar Hill and the Stevenson Homestead began to breathe again. With new leadership rising from the ashes and a growing sense of unity among its people, a fragile peace began to settle, but as life in this new world was teaching them, peace never lasts long. Just when it seems like the community has found its footing, a new threat looms on the horizon. The newly installed State Government isn't coming to offer support; they are coming to impose a new order. Armed with authority and backed by forces even stronger than Sheriff Griffiths could have imagined, the government's arrival threatens everything Luke, Russell, and the others fought to protect. To make matters worse, a ghost from Madison's past resurfaces, bringing with him a threat that could shatter her future and the safety of those she loves. As old enemies close in and new lines are drawn, loyalties will be tested, secrets will come to light, and the cost of freedom may be higher than anyone ever imagined. Will the community survive what's coming or will it all come crashing down? Find our in Defiant Rescue, the third installment in the Wanted Man Series. This item is printed on demand.
