Die Forschungsarbeit befasst sich mit dem Ansatz zur Entwicklung GUI-basierter Software, die f�r einen CADD- (Computer Aided Design and Drafting) und Concurrent-Engineering-Ansatz n�tzlich ist. Denn mit dem Einsatz dieses entwickelten Systems werden alle Phasen der Produktentwicklung, Design, Modellierung und Analyse, auf einer Bank bearbeitet. Die Arbeit �berpr�ft die Verfahrensschritte, die bei der Konstruktion von Kupplungen und der Entwicklung des Softwarepakets unter Verwendung von Visual Basic als Entwurfswerkzeug beteiligt sind. Dieses System wird anhand der Fallstudie einer Flanschkupplung und einer Standard-Entwurfsgleichung durchgef�hrt, wobei nach Erhalt der Ausgabe aus der Entwurfssoftware Programmiersoftware und Creo als Modellierungssoftware verwendet werden.
