Matthew West has spent more than 20 years working in the energy sector as one of its leading data modelers. He also was a key technical contributor to data modeling standards for large-scale enterprises. He currently serves as the director of Information Junction. a data architecture and analysis consultancy in the UK. Prior to this he was with Shell Oil, Where he was responsible for Shell's Downstream Data Model. He is also a key contributor to ISO 15926 (Lifecycle Integration of Process Data) and ISO 8000 (Data and Information Quality).
