The Development of Western Civilization Series [14 volumes; complete set] Edward W. Fox, series editor. Cornell University Press, 1951-1970. Softcover, no jackets. Condition of all volumes: VG or better. Small octavo (5.5 in. x 8.25 in.) *** This series was created for the course in western civilization at Cornell University and is authored by eminent specialists in their field. Each volume includes a chronological summary for its period, suggestions for further reading, and index. Reading this collection replicates a university-level curriculum in western civilization. Oversize; supplemental shipping required. *** Full list of volumes in this series: Harry M. Orlinsky, Ancient Israel, second edition, 1960. Pages: xii+164; five maps. Condition: near fine.
