Paperback. To those who have faced their own Flickers, those who have known the unsettling chill of manipulation and control, this book offers a glimmer of hope. It's a reminder that even in the depths of fear, the human spirit possesses an extraordinary capacity for resilience, for resistance, and for the ultimate triumph of light over shadow. The marigold, a symbol of defiance, blooms even in the darkest of soils. She didn't realize, not yet, that this game, this shared world of vibrant color and whispered secrets, held the seeds of something far darker, something that would twist her reality, isolate her from the world, and plunge her into a terrifying and inescapable darkness. The hummingbird, with its shimmering feathers and ancient gaze, was not just playing; it was weaving a spell, an insidious enchantment that would entrap Elara in its web of magic, a magic both beautiful and terrifying.
