My dear friend and brother: - I return you my sincere thanks for the; invitation you have givenme to be present with you on the first Thursday. In September next. I can think of no occasion, on this side of the heav-j eiily rest; in which I should take a more deep and delightful interest, than tosee the company of young converts in your congregation come out' from the world and subscribe With their hands unto the Lord. Who are these that fly as clouds and doves to their With some hopes that I might be with you, I prepared a sermon for the occasion, but the feeble health of my dear wife seems to be an indication of Providence that I cannot be with you. May the Lord be with you. From the day in which we organized the church of which you are Pastor, and from the painful day, when the pilgrims bade us farewell, amidst the prayers and tears and benedictions of parents and friends, we have watched the di, vine dealings with you With mingled emotions of anxiety, gratitude and joy. The company, with one of our nrost active deacons at their head, comprised a part of our church who were distinguished for intelligence and spirituality, the best portion of our choir of singers, and not afew-of our industrious and virtuous Citizens. From year to year, we have dis missed and added numbers to your communion. It is grateful to addihat these lossesfthough painful, have been in some measure repairea,' by the heavenly refreshings which we have enjoyed. It is equally grateful to add also, that our loss has been the blessed means of erecting the standard of the cross in,the centre of your State, and of extending the borders of Z_ion.: pilgrims began right. Said Judge Rose in a letter, the first Sabbathlafter our arrival, it, Was notified that we should hold a meeting in thewoods, where there were not a dozen trees cut down, and to my aston6 i's_hment there assembled 93 precious souls. It was' stated to me, at' the tinge of my visit -with you some'seventeen years ago, that worship on the Sabbath had never been intermitted in a single instance. It has given.

Descrizione dello Store
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
