A key work on evolution, based on snails in Hawaii. Gulick coined the term divergent evolution to describe the formation of new species due to geographical separation. The entire issue of this journal is devoted to Gulick's essay. A very good copy in the original wrappers. With a one-inch closed tear on the back cover.
