Recensione: In the era of evidence-based medicine and increasing patient access to medical literature it is essential that the clinician of the twenty-first century can weigh up the evidence supporting their own practice and justify their clinical decisions. Another fantastic edition of this book is very welcome Although I have not read this book from cover to cover, I have used it on a number of occasions and found it to be clear, concise and very easy to understand. This made it easy to apply to different scenarios and studies. The book includes some of the courses key themes in PP, such as study designs and basic statistics with examples using clinical scenarios. The chapters are set out in a structured and easy-toread format, with useful summary boxes at the end. I particularly like that this book assumes no prior knowledge of topic, making it very good for first years to get hold.
