Folding map, dissected into 48 panels and backed with linen. Original boards. Huge map from Boston to Falmouth & Fall River. Boards detached, cloth split and weak along the bottoms of the top three panels, otherwise fine condition. Attached to the back board, and thus separated from the rest of the map, is the northwesternmost panel which contains the towns of Brookline, Brighton, and Newton, along with a small portion of the City of Boston. The map includes the town of Bourne on Cape Cod. Full color by town. A wonderful large map of southeastern Massachusetts from the heyday of high-wheel bicycles.
