The Driving Test & How to Pass - Written by a driving examiner!
This version is in greyscale - we also produce a full colour version (ASIN : B0BST8221C)
There are many stories going around about the driving test, and most of them are not very accurate. People sometimes exaggerate, or they just invent stories to cover up their own mistakes. There is too much misleading information spread by people who express opinions instead of facts.
That's why anyone about to take the driving test should read this book.
It includes advice on choosing a driving instructor. It's important to get plenty of practise, however, you do need to ensure that the training is to the right standard.
There are helpful hints about booking a test, for example, how to avoid being scammed by booking services. It also covers all aspects of the test itself and answers the questions that learner drivers often ask.
Faults Explained
You will find out:
- how faults are assessed
- where they are marked
- the difference between a driving fault and a serious fault
- what the most common mistakes are and
- how to avoid them.
It’s a comprehensive guide which includes all the information you need to know as you prepare for the big day. This book will help to remove your uncertainty, and also give you the confidence you need to pass.
What Happens on Test
The book takes you step by step through each part of the test, for example:
- the show me tell me questions
- the manoeuvres
- independent driving
- what your examiner wants to see.
The Driving Test is an informative and factual read written by a road safety professional. Don has decades of experience working in the driver training and testing industry. He has worked as an instructor, in addition to many years as a driving examiner, and knows the system inside out. It will help you to dispel the myths, and also give you the tools you need to make sure you're properly prepared for taking your driving test.
There is no better way to prepare for your driving test than to read this book!
The 'show me tell me' questions are included, making this a great driving gift for anyone who is taking driving lessons.
This is one of the Learning to Drive series which includes:

- Teach Yourself Traffic Signs
- Learning to Drive - The Learner Driver's Manual
