Jonas ist ein Duplik. Er lebt mit vielen anderen Dupliks in einem sogenannten Hort, abgeschottet von der Welt, und muss nichts anderes tun als Sport treiben, sich richtig ern�hren und auf seine Gesundheit achten. Nur eine Bedrohung gibt es in diesem idyllisch anmutenden Leben: den FRASS.

Eine Krankheit, die pl�tzlich und unbemerkt auftritt, die alle Organe befallen und die nur mit der sofortigen Entfernung des jeweiligen K�rperteils �geheilt� werden kann. Die grausame Wirklichkeit, die dahinter steckt, ahnt keiner der Dupliks: Sie sind genetische Zwillinge von in der �normalen� Welt lebenden Menschen und m�ssen jederzeit als Ersatzteillager fungieren. Eines Tages ist auch Jonas vom FRASS befallen.

Birgit Rabisch wurde 1953 in Hamburg geboren, studierte Soziologie und Germanistik und arbeitet als VHS-Dozentin. Sie ist verheiratet und hat zwei S�hne. Neben Lyrik und einem Krimi hat sie die Romane ›Sonjas Logbuch‹ und ›M�glichkeit der Liebe‹ ver�ffentlicht. ›Duplik Jonas 7‹ (dtv pocket plus 78081) ist Birgit Rabischs erstes Kinderbuch und wurde mit dem Umweltliteraturpreis NRW ausgezeichnet.
