5th edition; small 8vo (165 x 105mm); viii & 229 pages; with a frontispiece of a cat tormenting a mouse by Gillray; softcover: bound in what I am guessing is the original marbled paper covers; binding sound but covers worn and creased around edges and spine, edges to contents frayed, frontispiece has obviously been refixed at some stage, but is about one-third detached, and is torn in outer margin and also worn around edges; contents age-toned and a very little foxing. A complete, solid, but worn copy.
