In questa straordinaria opera Nietzsche ripercorre la sua vita, il suo lavoro e il suo sviluppo come filosofo, esamina gli eroi con cui si è identificato, contro cui ha lottato e poi sconfitto - Schopenhauer, Wagner, Socrate, Cristo - e predice l'impatto catastrofico della sua 'imminente rivelazione di tutti i valori'. Sia autocelebrativo che autoironico, penetrante e strano, Ecce Homo dà l'espressione finale e definitiva alle principali convinzioni di Nietzsche ed è in ogni modo il suo ultimo testamento.
Informazioni sull?autore: Frederich Nietzsche (1844-1900) became the chair of classical philology at Basel University at the age of 24 until his bad health forced him to retire in 1879. He divorced himself from society until his final collapse in 1899 when he became insane. He died in 1900. R.J. Hollingdale translated 11 of Nietzsche's books and published 2 books about him.
