Descrizione dell’articolo da parte del venditore

10 pages. Illustrations. References. Stamp and note on front cover. Some cover wear and soiling. Small cover edge ding. Adult male rats were subjected to exhaustive exercise (swimming) following irradiation, and the lethality rate was determined. It is apparent that the lethality of roentgen rays at the doses studied (600r, 700r, 860r) is increased by the repeated performance of vigorous exercise following irradiation. It is suggested that the increased mortality observed with animals exercised after irradiation provides additional evidence that radiosensitivity is related to metabolic level. Table 1 includes information on total mortality for each dose level of x-rays delivered to the whole body; Figure 1 includes information on the effect of exhaustive exercise upon post-irradiation survival. Document also contains references.
