Charging stations are a critical component for the electric vehicle infrastructure, and hence, a chapter on vehicle interactions with the power grid has been added. He is also the Director of the FREEDM NSF Engineering Research Center and the Director of Power Electronics for the PowerAmerica Institute at North Carolina State University.
