His Traite Elementaire was originally published in 1787 and became an important reference work for naval engineers at the time. , Size : Thin 8vo.(225x140 mm), With 5 folding plates, all but one numbered, showing diagrams and cross-sections of ships and other pieces of naval architecture. Interior is clean and crisp. Plates loose inside. Spine sunned. Lower free endpaper with tear at gutter. A very good example.
