Igniting your spirit and increasing your spiritual IQ, this book is a life-saver in times of trouble. With it, you can rise up and triumph over adversity! |
Dr. Judith Larkin Reno's personal comments on Elephants in Your Tent:
Those who have read Elephants in Your Tent give the following testimonials:Elephants in Your Tent is the kind of book I wished I had when I was so sick and near death. The worst times were in the middle of the night when no one was there. I wrote this book to walk beside you when no one else is there.
When my attention span was ravaged by pain, I wanted something quick and powerful to penetrate the brain fog and restore my spirit. I needed immediate inspiration so I could keep fighting to live.
I didn't have much energy to read. So, I wanted quick penetrating anecdotes and power-packed quotes to refuel me. I needed a cheerleader to help me see past the avalanche of bad medical news. On the roller-coaster ride of daily crises, I wanted a stabilizer to help me keep my center.
Because I was continually cast about, I wanted to be anchored in faith and God union. I knew my healing supply came from my God union. If I could anchor in God, I knew that I would either heal or die in peace. Either way looked like a victory to me.
Elephants in Your Tent gives you all the spiritual home-remedies that I used to survive catastrophic illness. These are tried-and-true recipes with proven success. I tested each one in the laboratory of my life! This book is filled with hundreds of skills and practical tips for coping with disease and pain.
Pain is invasive. It can destroy your peace of mind. It can even rob your soul if you don't fight back. Elephants in Your Tent helps you fight back and triumph.
On my healing journey, I found comfort, healing, and strength. I pass these on to you in hopes that they will multiply! Take courage knowing that others have traveled the path before you. May you be truly blessed in your healing journey!
* National Book Award winner Fred Alan Wolf says, 'This book describing a survivor's journey into cancer by riding her spiritual elephant-wherever it took her-will fill you with wonder and joy."
-author The Yoga of Time Travel and Dr. Quantum Presents, among many other books on spirituality and quantum physics .
* 'Also a cancer survivor, I support everyone's learning about Judith's victory and how she got there. Victory is available to everyone choosing it!"
-Leonard Orr, Founder of Rebirthing.
* 'Battling a rare bone cancer, counselor and mystic Judith Larkin Reno confronts death and makes the heroic journey back to vibrant health. Dr. Reno is a master of two worlds, transcending life/death duality to embrace True Identity, far beyond earthly confines. Elephants in Your Tent is a guiding light for those facing illness. It helps you find gifts behind pain, true power under frailty, and an indestructible core beyond the impermanence of life."

Descrizione dello Store
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
