Elio Carter is an 11-year-old, half-enchanted boy, born with the mark on his left heel, but he doesn’t know it until his magician uncle comes for a visit. His uncle, Zio Cosimo, tells Elio he may be destined to become a spectacular magician like him. But Elio’s uncle has other secrets, beyond the world of magic, which puts Elio, his little brother, Dario, and their mom in great danger. Elio later meets Mia, the daughter of his uncle’s best friend, and soon discovers she also wears the mark on her heel. Together, they find a portal into the 4th dimension to explore the enchanted world while the adults frantically search for the missing children.
