Informazioni sull'autore: Maureen was born into an Italian immigrant family in 1950's Chicago. She is the fourth of five children, and the only girl. As a child growing up in the suburb of Elmwood Park, she attended St. Vincent Ferrar Grammar School, Trinity High School, and cultivated an avid love for the game of baseball, a passion she now enjoys sharing with her daughter. Married in 1979, Maureen and her husband now live in Maine, and enjoy a beautiful home they designed and built together more than 25 years ago. Her successful professional career taught her the value of in-depth research and her early retirement left her with the time to put that skill to work toward her lifelong dream of bringing fictional life to the tumultuous historical days she witnessed as a youth.
