Number 1 in the Bibliographical Society Illustrated Monographs, edited by Alfred W. Pollard and handsomely printed at the Chiswick Press. From the library of Dr. R. S. Speck of San Francisco. Purchased by Dr. Speck at John Howell Books, with their invoice dated June 18, 1955, laid in. Stan Speck, as he was known, was a much beloved and respected collector and bibliophile.
