Twenty years ago, Sloane Voss left Wren’s Landing behind.
She had a career to build, places to go, and a very good reason not to look back.
Now she’s back for six months—and the first person she runs into is Cal Ashworth.
Cal was the boy she loved before everything got complicated. These days, he’s a doctor, the man running the town’s small clinic, and somehow still the person who can make Sloane feel like she’s twenty-four again.
Neither of them planned on this.
Sloane has a job waiting for her in Seattle when her contract ends. Cal has spent years building a life in Wren’s Landing, looking after the clinic and the people who depend on it. Neither is willing to simply walk away from the life they’ve chosen.
But working together has a way of bringing old feelings back to the surface.
A late-night emergency. Coffee after a long shift. Sunday afternoons with nowhere they need to be. The kind of small moments that shouldn't mean much—and somehow mean everything.
Soon they're faced with a question neither expected to ask:
What if the life you thought you wanted isn't the only life that could make you happy?
Everything But Certain is a warm, emotional small-town second-chance romance about two people getting another chance at the love they never quite got over—and discovering that sometimes coming home isn't about going backward.
Sometimes it's about finally figuring out where you belong.
