Already today, the demands of the job no longer correspond to the profile on which classical architectural training is based. In this context, the question that arises is no longer that of the building alone, but also that of a changed approach to building and new pathways within design itself. This is where Explorations comes in: internationally celebrated authors, all of whom are professors as well and hence directly involved in the processes they describe, address the principal topics of contemporary architectural research. Taking the works of their own design studios as examples (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule [ETH] Zürich [Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich]: Marc Angélil, Fabio Gramazio/Matthias Kohler; Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne [EPFL, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne]: Harry Gugger, Dieter Dietz), they offer concrete discussions of those topics and place them in the context of applied research and practice. Short and accessible essays on the most important architectural movements of the twentieth century clarify the relationship between the subjects discussed and canonical architectural research. Reto Geiser is an architect who studied at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) Zürich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich) and Columbia University in New York. As the William Muschenheim Fellow and a lecturer in architecture and design, he spent the 2003 2004 academic year at the University of Michigan (USA). He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Institut gta (Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture) at the ETH Zürich. In addition to his academic work, Reto Geiser also works on projects at the shared frontiers of architecture, installation, and visual culture. In Basel, he is director of the series Standpunkte: Informelle Gespräche zur zeitgenössischen ArchitekturKultur (Points of View: Informal Conversations on Contemporary Architecture/Culture). Geiser is currently curating the Swiss contribution to the XI Biennale of Architecture in Venice. The exhibition at the Swiss Pavilion of the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale is merely intended as a springboard for further study of the subject.; Das Berufsbild des Architekten hat sich angesichts des Wandels zu einer globalisierten Gesellschaft nachhaltig verändert und wird sich auch weiterhin verändern. Die Anforderungen entsprechen bereits heute nicht mehr dem Profil, das der klassischen Architekturausbildung zugrunde liegt. In diesem Kontext stellt sich nicht mehr allein die Frage nach dem Gebäude, sondern auch die nach einer veränderten Herangehensweise an das Bauen und nach neuen Wegen im Entwurf selbst. Hier setzt Explorations an: International renommierte Autoren, alle auch Professoren und damit unmittelbar in die beschriebenen Prozesse eingebunden, befassen sich mit den zentralen Themen der zeitgenössischen Architekturforschung. Anhand der Arbeiten ihrer Entwurfsstudios (ETH Zürich: Marc Angélil, Fabio Gramazio/Matthias Kohler; EPFL Lausanne: Harry Gugger, Dieter Dietz) werden die Themen exemplarisch diskutiert und in die angewandte Forschung und Praxis transferiert. Kurze und leicht verständliche Essays zu den wesentlichen Architekturströmungen des 20. Jh. verdeutlichen den Bezug zu kanonischer Architekturforschung. Reto Geiser, Architekt, studierte an der ETH Zürich und der Columbia University New York und war von 2003-2004 als William Muschenheim Fellow und Dozent für Architketur und Design an der University of Michigan (USA). Derzeit ist er Doktorand am Institut gta an der ETH Zürich. Reto Geiser realisiert Projekte im Spannungsfeld Architektur, Installation und visuelle Kultur. In Basel leitet er die Reihe Standpunkte. Diritto legale di recesso
Hai il diritto di recedere dal presente contratto entro 14 giorni senza fornire alcuna motivazione.
Il periodo di recesso scade dopo 14 giorni dal giorno in cui tu o una terza parte, diversa dal vettore e da te indicata, acquisisce il possesso fisico dell'ultimo bene o dell'ultimo lotto o pezzo.
Per esercitare il diritto di recesso, compila e invia elettronicamente una dichiarazione esplicita sul nostro sito Web, alla voce “I miei acquisti” nella sezione “Mio account”. Ti comunicheremo senza indugio una conferma di ricezione di tale recesso su un supporto durevole (ad es. via e-mail).
Per rispettare il termine di recesso, è sufficiente inviare la comunicazione relativa all'esercizio del diritto di recesso prima della scadenza del periodo di recesso stesso.
Effetti del recesso
In caso di recesso dal presente contratto, ti rimborseremo tutti i pagamenti ricevuti, compresi i costi di spedizione (ad eccezione dei costi supplementari derivanti dalla tua eventuale scelta di un tipo di spedizione diverso dal tipo meno costoso di consegna standard da noi offerto).
Potremo effettuare una detrazione dal rimborso per la perdita di valore dei beni forniti, qualora tale perdita sia il risultato di una manipolazione non necessaria da parte tua.
Eseguiremo il rimborso senza indebito ritardo e non oltre 14 giorni dal giorno in cui saremo informati della tua decisione di recedere dal presente contratto.
Il rimborso sarà effettuato utilizzando lo stesso mezzo di pagamento da te usato per la transazione iniziale, salvo che tu non abbia espressamente concordato altrimenti; in ogni caso, non dovrai sostenere alcun costo quale conseguenza di tale rimborso.
Possiamo trattenere il rimborso finché non avremo ricevuto i beni oppure finché non avrai fornito la prova di averli rispediti, a seconda di quale condizione si verifichi per prima.
Dovrai rispedire i beni o consegnarli a AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, senza indebito ritardo e, in ogni caso, entro 14 giorni dal giorno in cui ci hai comunicato la tua volontà di recedere dal presente contratto. Il termine è rispettato se rispedisci i beni prima della scadenza del periodo di 14 giorni. I costi diretti della restituzione dei beni saranno a tuo carico. Sei responsabile solo della diminuzione del valore dei beni risultante da una manipolazione diversa da quella necessaria per stabilire la natura, le caratteristiche e il funzionamento dei beni stessi.
Eccezioni al diritto di recesso
Il diritto di recesso non si applica a:
- La fornitura di giornali, periodici o riviste ad eccezione dei contratti di abbonamento; e
- La fornitura di contenuto digitale non fornito su un supporto materiale (ad es. su un CD o DVD), se al momento dell'invio dell'ordine hai accettato l'inizio dell'esecuzione e hai riconosciuto che non avresti potuto recedere una volta iniziata l'esecuzione.
