Este Skylar is grounded.
Six months after surviving a plane crash, she’s terrified to fly, leaving her promising career as a pilot in ruins. Exhausted by sleepless nights, all she wants is to switch off, and a trip to her dad’s best friend’s cabin in Wintermore is the perfect excuse.
Nico Harland is haunted.
For twenty years, his grief over his sister’s death has made him hide from the world. Now, at forty-seven, he’s finally ready to try living again. But when an unexpected spring snow triggers an avalanche, he finds himself trapped with his best friend’s twenty-six-year-old daughter, the one person who understands his nightmares as intimately as her own.
They shouldn’t want each other. He’s too old for her; she’s off-limits, and he promised her dad he’d take care of her. But boundaries blur fast when the only peace they find is together, and what starts as comfort becomes impossible to resist. Trapped together, their connection deepens into something that could either heal their broken pieces or shatter them completely.
Fall or Fly is a spicy, age gap, dad's best friend romance with a happy ending. It's the third book in the Wintermore series, but can be read as a standalone. Full content warnings can be found on the author's website.
