Falls and fall-induced injuries are a common problem in older people worldwide, and the current ageing population will further increase the burden and cost associated with this type of injury. More specifically, falls are considered as the main public health problem among older people, and are related to significant morbidity and mortality. The main purpose of this book is to provide data on the prediction of falls among older people,and to examine which factors make the greatest contribution to the prediction of falls among this population.
