An action-packed African adventure concludes the Rwendigo Tales series with a gripping story of danger, courage, and the fight against injustice.
When Dr. Mujuni, a volunteer physician battling a mysterious outbreak, wakes up injured and feverish on a deserted island with no memory of how he arrived, the truth slowly unfolds. As his memories return, he uncovers the devastating fate of the village he served and the terrifying lengths powerful officials will go to erase all evidence of the epidemic. With the help of Nyakato, a brave young girl and the only other survivor, Mujuni must attempt a dangerous return to the mainland—only to discover that the forces they face are far more threatening than they ever imagined.
