The second part of "Fifty-Two" gives us twenty six tales and deals with the author's life working and playing in Australia, Japan and Brazil before returning to his home city of Norwich in England. Imagine being in a quiet bar "The Silver Penis" pub for example in Japan and hearing the author tell his tales. That is just how this book seems to pan out, for such is his unique and chatty style of writing. So, if you would like to know about Australian prisons, gout ,a Japanese Yakuza boss, smuggling magic mushrooms, chess in Belgium ,getting shot in Brazil, cricket in Hong Kong and what happened to a Salvador Dali painting, or simply being a poo slave then this is the book for you.
