Rest of Faith (4 sermons)
Stress and pressure are part of our life. Jesus has given some clear things about how we can deal with it. When you're stressed out, anxious and uptight you don't live your best and not only that, you find that you struggle in your relationships. There's overflow in your health. God doesn't intend us to live that way.
Comfort in Times of Trouble (3 sermons)
Everyone experiences times of pressure, difficult, distress. When we're in pain, out thinking is affected, we tend to lose perspective, then isolate, & turn to false comforts. The enemy of our soul likes to torment us, but God is a God of Comfort. We can position ourselves to experience great comfort in times of distress. Learn how to experience the comfort of God, & the reality of His presence.
Authority in the Family (5 sermons)
But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 11:3). This series clearly describes God's design for our marriage and how we can position ourselves for blessing and empowerment.
Finance (2 sermons)
Shane Willard offers a unique Jewish/Hebraic perspective for Christians on Finance and Giving. Work; Wisdom; Honor; Knowing God; Tzedakah. We're called to live on a circle in a square: 79%. The math from the commands matches the illustration from agriculture.
Ten Commandments - Foundations for Success (6 sermons)
Am I me, regardless of what I'm producing; or is my entire life and worth defined by the number of bricks I can make? Is God still the creator, even when He's resting? The Sabbath is a day where you live like your work is done, even if it isn't - and that is healing. The world goes on, because God is God, and you are not. The supply of everything I need, is as close to me as the air that I'm breathing, I just need to stop and become aware of that. God wants to marry you, leaven & all. No matter what you've done, He is determined to make it right for you - that is what the 10 Commandments are all about. Its Grace, its God giving people something that they did not earn or deserve, its welcome to being human again.
Leadership Seminar (6 sermons)
1.Tefillah, Teshuvah, Tzedakah: Pictures from Hebrew hieroglyphics are used like a comic strip to illuminate the word.2. Being a Peacemaker: From what started out as a joke no-one understood, a fascinating cycle of violence ensues: I merely did to them, what they did to me. 3.Demonstrating the Power of God, within the Disposition of Messiah, gives us the Credibility to speak life into any situation.4.Being a Good Neighbour. compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, abounding-in-love5.Form vs Function (Greek vs Hebrew)6.Worries of this Life, Deceitfulness of Wealth

Descrizione dello Store
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
