L'autore: Shirley Brinks lives and writes in Pueblo, Colorado. She began a ten year odyssey with extended travels in India after a twenty five year marriage ended with four children raised. Tucked in her suitcase was a pair of pink ballet slippers, always there even as her arthritic body was lifted on and off everything from jet planes to elephants. She holds a B.A. from Colorado State University continuing post graduate work at UCCS in guidance and counseling. Her poetry and stories are all autobiographical, working professionally with aging and dying issues.
