One of 101 titles in the St. Joseph Picture Book Series, this book by popular author Father Lawrence G. Lovasik S.V.D., provides children with an abundance of prayers which will assist them in praying on their own. Teaching children to pray is a beautiful way to help them build a strong relationship with God. Prayer allows children to talk to God, share their feelings, and learn to trust that He is always there for them, no matter what. Through prayer, children discover that they can bring their joys, worries, and hopes to God and that He listens with love.

Praying regularly helps children feel safe and connected to something greater than themselves. It gives them a moment of peace and calm, which can be comforting, especially during times when they feel worried or unsure. Prayer can be a powerful tool for kids to understand gratitude as well. By thanking God for their family, friends, and blessings, children learn to appreciate the good things in life.

Prayer also teaches children to care about others. When they pray for their family, friends, and even people they do not know, they develop a sense of compassion and kindness. This helps them become more understanding and caring toward others.

Making prayer a habit can guide children in making good choices. It reminds them that God is with them and encourages them to think about what is right and good. Overall, prayer gives children a strong foundation in faith, love, and hope. Teaching kids to pray helps them grow up with a sense of peace, strength, and confidence in God's presence in their lives.
