During the depth of the Great Depression, on June 4, 1935, The Flying Keys, as the brothers later became known, lifted off in a borrowed Curtiss Robin monoplane named Ole Miss from Meridian, Mississippi's airport. For the next twenty-seven days, they flew over the Meridian vicinity. Several times each day, the crew of a similar plane would lower food and supplies to the brothers on the end of a rope, as well as supply fuel via a long flexible tube, a fore runner of modern 'in flight refueling'. They landed on July 1 after traveling an estimated 52,320 miles and used more than 6,000 gallons of gasoline. Their non-stop endurance flight lasted 653 hours, 34 minutes. Sorry for the cost of shipping, but I do not set the postal rates. That is done by US Postal Service. It tends to change [UP] about every 6 months.

International shipping is done using a Freight Forwarder. We send the book to a US domestic address, where it is consolidated by the shipper. When there are sufficient items for the FF to send them onwards, they will do so. This takes ca. 2-6 weeks for international packages to be delivered.

On international orders it is the responsibility of the buyer to know any rules, regulations, laws, etc., regarding what may, or may not, be imported.

Any and ALL customs/duties/import fees/etc. are payable by the buyer. They are NOT included in the cost of postage.

It is the responsibility of the buyer, in a foreign country, to know what is permissable to be imported. Any/all rules/laws/regulations which may affect the delivery of ordered item are the responsibility of the buyer NOT the seller [ME].
