Paperback. A shady businessman, a deadly scandal, and a small-town photographer caught in the crosshairs-who's framing who? When small-town photographer Carol lands a gig snapping pictures for a local businessman's new venture, she's thrilled-until she discovers his charm hides a trail of shady deals and angry victims. Against her better judgment, she spills the beans to a few locals, including the town gossip. Big mistake! News of his crooked ways spreads faster than a small-town bake sale, and Carol figures karma has finally caught up with him. Just as the businessman's reputation starts to crumble, he's found dead under suspicious circumstances, leaving Whispering Haven buzzing with accusations and whispers. When one of his most vocal victims becomes the prime suspect, all signs point to an open-and-shut case. But Carol knows this small town hides big secrets, and nothing is ever as simple as it seems. As she dives into the mystery, camera in hand, she finds herself entangled in a web of deceit, danger, and dead ends. Can she uncover the truth before the real killer snaps out of focus? Or will she find herself in the crosshairs of a murderer with secrets to protect? If you want to enjoy a light-hearted read, with an amateur female sleuth, a curious cat with 9 lives and a gripping murder mystery, then you'll love Carol Riddick and all the quirky characters in Whispering Haven.***No cliffhanger, swearing or graphic scenes!*** Get your copy of Framed in Mischief and see how events unfold in this cozy mystery.
