Neuware - Beautiful wildlife photography by Michael Salmon, paired with a fantastic coming of age story, sets this book apart as a classic, fun, and inspiring children's story. A prolific wildlife photographer, Michael Salmon's pictures of a pair of mated eagles with their offspring led to this inspiring story. The male and female pair of eagles built their nest high in a pine tree at Rockford Country Club in Rockford, Illinois, where the 2 eagles hatched a pair of eaglets. The young pair were soon seen hopping around the ground of the golf course for several weeks before learning to fly. These young eagles stayed with their parents at the club all that summer, however the next summer they abandoned the nest for a new area. The photographer noted, 'I was able to get within a few feet of the babies, until they could fly.'This book contains the imagined tale of the two young eagles named Freedom and Liberty, the Eagle family, and the conversations they may have had as they grew up to represent the morals and character of our country. It will inspire young and old readers, encouraging a passion for some of the traits that make our great nation, the United States of America, so great. A perfect celebratory gift on the 4th of July, Memorial Day, any place where patriotism is being encouraged in young people-all year long. Mature readers will appreciate the amazing photography as well as the simple, heartwarming tale as it is shared with children or grandchildren. This book contains closeup and detailed photographic work of a male and female mating Eagle pair, and their two offspring in a natural habitat, the wild of a suburban gold course. This is a photographic study of Eagles acting naturally and coexisting with man. No Eagles or other animals were captured or harmed for this work.…
