Riassunto:
About The Book
Only through understanding new technology and effective planning can one pioneer the maximal use of such technology. In this era, nothing will stop nations and corporations from seeking to own these new technologies--so it is imperative that you do the same. Today, in both our public and private institutions, comprehensive understanding of technology is rare, especially by general staff or even decision-makers who are not technological specialists. This can lead to an organization wasting resources on digital transformation projects due to a lack of clarity and understanding or setting impossibly lofty goals. This book sets a general framework that can easily be understood by anyone for digital transformation projects. With a focus on artificial intelligence and quantum computing, truly technologies of the future, you can understand this technology and adapt it to transform your institution into a "smart" organization. Throughout the book, you will learn from different perspectives, reports, and even events to understand the impact these technologies will have. Whether you're in the private or public sector, you will find practical and easily understandable advice for utilizing technology in the future.
Informazioni sugli autori:
Ahmed Elghadban is an IT professional with over 20 years of experience in the field. He graduated as an Electronics & Communications engineer and continued his academic pathway with postgraduate studies at Cairo and Ain Shams universities and professional programs hosted by The Open Group, MIT, Delft University and Microsoft. Recently, he earned both a MicroMasters in Statistics & Data Science and an advanced program in Quantum Computing at MIT.Focused on enriching the Arabic technological content, Ahmed has sought to simplify advanced topics in technology to public readers. He started by publishing a series of articles about Enterprise Architecture, a series that always comes at the top of related search results. When he saw many failing to recognize the significance of quantum computing and artificial intelligence, he set out to make a guide that anyone, from the person without a technical background to the technical savvies, could read and understand. After months of collaboration with his daughter, Yomna, he completed "Future Enterprise: Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence."You can learn more about Ahmed and his work at his website, quantumy.ai. Ahmed currently resides in Dubai with his wife and daughter and enjoys reading, traveling, and studying different cultures in his downtime.
Yomna Mohamed is an Engineering Student at Imperial College London.Becoming a specialist in Computer Engineering, an ever-present field, would give Yomna a great opportunity to select and contribute to different fields. One of the emerging topics under this wide title is Machine Learning. ML has the same characteristics as Computer Engineering as it has applications in every other field. Specifically, she has great interest in the applications of ML in healthcare. Yomna lost her 2 siblings due to an idiopathic disease, and she hopes her research in ML could help prevent similar tragedies for others. Yomna likes the work of Dr. Maria Schuld and how she and other contributors have introduced a new family of algorithms that could be as good or better alternatives compared to current traditional ML algorithms. By exploring this "triangle" of ML, Quantum Computing, and Healthcare, Yomna is hoping to answer the question, "how far can the quantum nature of QML (in terms of parallel computing) help build efficient models that can deal with the tremendous amount of personal data, such as their genome, family background, vital signs from wearables, lifestyle, and other data, and can they discover the hidden patterns that cause different type of diseases?"Yomna has co-authored the book "Future Enterprise: Quantum Computing & Artificial Intelligence" with Ahmed Elghadban as part of her efforts to advance these technologies by increasing the public awareness around them.
