Descrizione dell’articolo da parte del venditore

240 pages, soft cover. Paper covers are clean and bright, as are interior pages. Binding is solid. Contains a bind-in halfway through with B&W photography. Chemistry was not only a destructive instrument of World War I, but also healed the sick and wounded. This book explores both the danger and healing potential, revealing how the arms race was also a race for chemistry, to the extent that Germany's thirst for fertilizer to feed the creation of their shells nearly starved the nation. Clean copy.
