Informazioni sull?autore: Helga Schneider was born in German Poland, but spent her childhood in Berlin. At four years old, her family was abandoned by her mother in favor of joining the Nazi party, the devastating effects of which are described in her memoir, Let Me Go. She has lived in Bologna, Italy, since 1963.
