Munro participated in the conservation of the papyrus scroll and presents this facsimile, edition, translation, and commentary. The scroll is at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, and was written in Thebes during the Ptolemaic period. There is no written record, but the museum probably bought it from Charles Trick Currelly between 1911 and 1914. He had excavated in Egypt and the Middle East as a member of the Egypt Exploration Fund and the British School of Archaeology, and became the museum's first director in 1914.
