1st. thus. Medium 8vo. ( 18cm. tall x 12cm.). 464 pp. Engraved portrait frontispiece. Extra illustrated title with engraved vignette of "Auburn." The title proper carries the same engraving. there are 7 full page engraved plates. In the original half red leather over contrasting red cloth. Gilt titled and decorated spine with raised bands. The edges and endpapers are superbly marbled. All pages have a simple red ruled border. There is slight rubbing of the leather over the raised bands. Slight foxing of the prelims. In all a very good copy of this fine edition.
