A book for beginners by this notable player and historian. Interesting to note that an 1890's "set" consisted of six iron headed clubs and seven wooden headed clubs. Typical offset from pastedowns. Beautiful blue cloth covered copy. No former owner name or bookplate, no notations, underlining, marginalia, soiling, creases, tears, etc.
