Informazioni sull'autore: Bethany Knight lives at Shantivanam (peace forest), 130 acres of woods, meadows and ponds in northern Vermont, where she writes and leads workshops and retreats on spirituality, peacemaking, and meaningful living. She is a former long term care ombudsman, healthcare executive, lobbyist, newspaper reporter and gubernatorial speechwriter. Bethany is also a licensed pastor, nursing assistant and long term care insurance agent. In December, 1998, she was a participant in the Way of Peace, a 54-person, international pilgrimage in India, led by the Dalai Lama. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University, Bethany holds a BA in journalism and an MA in recreation and parks administration. She has done post graduate work at Duke Divinity School. Bethany and her husband, Dr. Thurmond Knight, a maker of cellos, violins and violas, have two grown children, Chelsea and Elliot.
