This book declares the "Good News" of Jesus; he is the fulfillment of covenants, traditions, and laws for a chosen people. Matthew redefines the "chosen people," inviting everyone--regardless of social, religious, or economic status--to the table. Today, we are invited to be a part of that table, and experience the Good News of Jesus for ourselves.
Alabaster's approach reimagines the entire experience of the book. Incorporating images that illuminate the themes and messages of the text, this book will help the reader engage scripture in a fresh way. The Gospel of Matthew in the New Living Translation (NLT) is great for Bible studies, church groups, or individual devotional times.
Alabaster creates with the reader in mind--including careful use of negative space, legible typefaces, and layouts that allow a thoughtful exploration between text and images.

Informazioni sull’autore
Alabaster is the brainchild of Brian Chung and Bryan Ye-Chung, Forbes Next 1000 and Forbes 30 under 30 honorees. After meeting at the University of Southern California, they set out to create books that embody the intersection of art and faith. For Brian and Bryan, the goal was to spark fresh conversations and to design a book that took the richness and beauty of the biblical text and reflects that beauty visually.
