Hardcover, sewn-bound in black cloth, with dimmed gilt lettering on spine (along with faded decoration), is in G condition, having corners bumped and worn, some staining and rubbing/scuffing to covers, and some light wear to edges; both endpaper sections show some separation in gutters, with some netting showing; looks like a rubber-stamped signature of former owner on first free endpaper, and unfinished drawing in pencil on last free endpaper; normal age-toning to pages. Book is illustrated by Lynd Ward with b&w drawings or prints. Foreword by editor. A wonderful collection of ghost and horror stories, in this massive (848 pp.) and heavy (44 oz) tome. Stories by M.
