Guirlande de Flore par Charles Malo. 1819 (calendar to rear dated on Gennajo). Paris, Chez Janet, Rue St Jacques No. 59. Small: 12cm by 8cm approx. Original moire slipcase with gilt detailing a little rubbed and fraying. Book: pale blue boards with gilt detailing (different to slipcase) again a little rubbed. Gilt to faces of page block; still bright. Binding sound but a little shaken. 216 pp. General scattered spotting throughout. Decorative title page, plus fifteen coloured plates with tissue guards and four calendar pages to rear with attractive colour headpieces. French text. More details available on request. (FBppl). Orné d'une vignette sur la page de titre et de 15 gravures finement coloriées, gravées par Teillard d'après P. Bessa, certaines non signées. Calendrier pour 1815 en fin d'ouvrage. (quelques traces sur le cartonnage et l'étui, rousseurs). // 16o (121 x 80 mm), pink paper binding, gilt edges, slipcase with decorated spine (contemporary binding). Illustrated with a vignette on title page and 15 coloured plates, engraved by Teillard after P. Bessa, several not signed. Calendar for 1815 at the end. (première charnière fendue dans le bas sur 3,5 cm, rousseurs). // 16o (132 x 88 mm), blond calf, smooth spine tooled, black morocco label, double fillet and garland border on covers, fillet on turns-in, roll inside, gilt edges (contemporary binding).
