Do you keep reaching for someone who keeps pulling away?
Do you feel anxious, overlooked, or never fully chosen?
Do you shut down, go quiet, or feel trapped the moment love gets too close?
If any of that feels familiar, you already know how draining this pattern is. You've second-guessed yourself, replayed conversations, and wondered why something so real can also hurt so much. The truth is, this is not a sign that you are too much, too cold, or incapable of love. It means you are caught in an attachment pattern - and patterns can be healed.
HEALING THE ANXIOUS-AVOIDANT RELATIONSHIP TRAP is a compassionate, practical guide for anyone stuck in the push-pull cycle. Grounded in attachment theory and somatic healing, it helps you understand where these reactions come from, why they keep repeating, and what you can do to finally create something steadier, safer, and more loving.
Inside, you'll learn how to:
- Recognize the 6-stage cycle of anxious-avoidant conflict - from connection to trigger to protest to shutdown - so you can name where you are before the spiral takes over
- Use 3 powerful reflection prompts to trace your attachment style back to its roots - and finally understand why you react the way you do
- Follow a 5-step "Pause & Return" roadmap - a structured, step-by-step plan that helps both partners take space without triggering abandonment or shutdown
- Master 7 specific communication scripts - exact words you can use when you're triggered, when your partner is triggered, and when you need to rebuild connection after conflict
- Apply 4 types of body-based regulation tools - grounded in somatic therapy - to calm your nervous system in real time, before fear, pursuit, or withdrawal takes over
- Complete a guided cycle-mapping exercise - draw out your own pattern so you can finally see it clearly and interrupt it at exactly the right moment
- Work through 3 distinct reparenting paths - one for anxious attachment, one for avoidant attachment, and one for disorganized attachment - designed to heal the childhood wounds still running the show
- Learn 2 essential boundary frameworks - the difference between a wall that destroys intimacy and a boundary that protects it, with scripts for both partners
- Discover 5 stages of trust rebuilding after rupture - and how to move through repair without falling back into the same old pattern
- Know exactly when and how to seek professional support - including 3 therapy modalities proven most effective for attachment healing (EMDR, IFS, and EFT)
You are not reading this by accident. Somewhere beneath the exhaustion, there is still a part of you that believes love can feel calmer than this. That part of you is right. The pattern is not your identity. And the relationship you've been hoping for may be closer than you think - once you learn how to stop reliving the same wound.
If you're ready to understand the pattern, heal what's underneath it, and build a love that feels safe to live in - this book is your first step.
