This book is about choosing to live as a representative of God’s Kingdom on earth. Doing so requires complete departure from pursuing self-interest and a commitment to be developed into a mature Christ follower so that the world can recognize through you the manifest Kingdom of God, and its presence in every sphere of life. This lifestyle commitment empowers Christians to operate unconventionally by the world’ standards yet provide a clear model of alternative Kingdom living. Christians must function as ambassadors and emissaries, and as a perfected body in order for God’s kingdom to be seen in the earth. This requires change in the way Christians practice their faith and operate within this world’s systems. Changing how we think, how we live and what we pursue in life are the transformational values we must demonstrate to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth. Willie Thomas Butler is founder and President of Kingdom Seed Foundation and its educational division, The Life Planning Institute, Inc. He simultaneously serves as Associate Pastor at One Generation Church of Chesapeake, Virginia and several for profit and non-profit organizations as a board member, counselor, development officer and financial adviser.Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Butler was first discipled at St. John the Evangelist Church by the renowned theologian, writer and social activist Reverend Fr. Richard John Neuhaus, founder of the Institute on Religion and Public Life. In 1985, Butler moved to Virginia where he attended the Robertson School of Government at Regent University and worked for the Christian Broadcasting Network. He and his wife Brenda attended the Rock Church of Virginia Beach under Bishops John and Anne Gimenez of Washington for Jesus and America for Jesus national acclaim.Butler is the author of four books: True Prosperity (1999), The Kingdom Life Approach: A Purpose-Driven Strategy for Living Your Best Life Ever (2012), and its companion workbook by the same name (2013); also Seven Keys to Living a Kingdom Life (eBook). Currently pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Leadership, Butler holds a master of arts in law and public policy from Regent University in Virginia and a bachelors of science in business management from Adelphi University in New York.
