CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Minor rubbing to edges, corners and spine ends. Interior pages are age toned; binding is tight. EXCELLENT CONDITION of a highly collectable early American sporting book originally published in 1881. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: Later edition of a classic American hunting and trapping guide. Batty was a life-long hunter; raised in Massachusetts in the Connecticut River valley, he migrated to the Rocky Mountain west and hunted and trapped.
