At the end of every horror movie, one girl always survives...in this case, Cassie Hack not only survives, she turns the tables by hunting and destroying the horrible slashers that would do harm to the innocent!

A hefty brick of critically acclaimed horror goodness! Cassie & Vlad are launched into a new slasher hunt as they descend into a vast, dark conspiracy and must face old enemies, Victor Crowley (from the Hatchet series), Bomb Queen, Fantomah, and teenage pop music fans!

This HACK/SLASH DELUXE edition collects issues #1-11 of HACK/SLASH, VOLUME 2 as well as the HATCHET/SLASH crossover, the MURDER MESSIAH annual and the ZOMBIES vs. CHEERLEADERS crossover.

Also includes a brand new bonus story by Tim Seeley and Dan Leister!

TIM SEELEY is one of those “slash” people…a writer-slash-artist. He has drawn a number of different comic book series including G.I JOE, HALLOWEEN, WILDCATS and EXSANGUINE. His writing work includes NY TIMES bestselling HACK/SLASH, GRAYSON, BATMAN ETERNAL

James Lowder is an American author, anthologist, and editor, working regularly within the fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror genres, and on tabletop role-playing games and critical works exploring popular culture.

He has penned scripts for several companies, including Image, DC, Devil's Due, and Desperado. He became the editor for the monthly series HACK/SLASH with issue #25 and continued with the series when it moved from Devil's Due to Image Comics. His pulp hero serial "The Corpse: Orphans of the Air" ran as an occasional back-up in HHACK/SLASH, starting in 2011.

Benito Cereno is a writer and podcaster whose work includes Tales from the Bully Pulpit with Graeme MacDonald and Hector Plasm with Nate Bellegarde, both for Image Comics. He also wrote Invincible Presents Atom Eve and Rex Splode and, in collaboration with Robert Kirkman, the first Guarding the Globe series. He was the primary writer for The Tick from New England Comics, featuring art by Les McClaine. He has also written stories for Dark Horse Comics, Dynamite Comics, and others.

As a podcaster, he is the co-host with Chris Sims of Apocrypals, a thorough look at the Bible and related writings through a historical and literary lens, but also it’s a comedy podcast, so funnier than that sounds. He also co-hosts Friends Till the End with Matt D. Wilson and Erica Henderson, a podcast nominally about the Chucky franchise, but also covering horror media more broadly.

He lives in Kentucky with his wife and two cats. He has no children but has long been refining his avuncular vibe.
